Our 'Trees' design features a very British, ruggedly dramatic scene, adapted from a vintage woodcut. We love the fine, intricate lines of Victorian woodcuts and screen-printing really helps to show those off beautifully.
Our bolsters are always admired and are a great talking point - these long, thin cushions show off our long-format designs to good effect and look fantastic across a sofa or double bed.
Hand screen-printed by designer-maker Jen Rowland in her South London studio in elegant off-white and chocolate inks onto natural, unbleached linen.
Zip closure. Duck feather pad included. Dimensions 33cm x 134cm (13" x 53").
PLEASE NOTE: Our cushions are usually made to order, so please allow for a production period of 3-4 weeks after placing your order.
We do hold a small amount of stock, so if you require your cushion in a shorter period of time, please put a note on your order to see if we have your desired design in stock or are expecting it soon. We will try our best to work something out for you!
About the designer:
Jen Rowland works from her studio in Deptford, South London, where she screen prints vintage and hand-drawn illustrations onto beautiful natural fabrics for her range of lampshades, cushions and bolsters. She also designs a growing range of stationery, including notebooks, notelet sets and greetings cards, all printed on FSC certified paper.
By layering vintage illustrations with her own abstract botanical drawings, Jen gives ‘florals’ a new unisex appeal. She applies modern graphic prints onto fine, shimmering silks and unbleached Irish linens, creating pieces that are at once striking but easy to live with.
We'd known of Jen's beautiful work for some time but actually met her for the first time when she popped into The Voewood to buy some womenswear.
